Preparations for war! (Hedge building...)

I finsihed off my 2 units of wood elves. So the army has grown by another 60 troops. Plans are underway to host a wargame and actually play some warhammer after 20 years! I'm like an excited child in a sweet shop. So I have a table ( which I'm still not happy with!) but now I need some more terrain. Therefore I'm experimenting with building hedges...

But the clay I'm using as the base will take 4 days to dry and I'm not confident it will stick to the spatula underneath.

Next up some houses for a small farmstead, and a few trees. Probably not enough for a wood elf army!

I thought I'd also better invest in some movement trays, so they are on the go as well!

Nice work, I'm especially digging that water mill, top notch. I play against wood elves semi regularly. So believe me you've got enough trees at least from an opponents view point!
Good luck with your project.

Buildings look great. Love the sagging roofs. Once everything is done and the army is set up you're going to have a damn fine looking table top. :)

Looking good Justin, I like the hedges. The buildings are good too, they will look great on your lovely table. A watermill means you'll have to build a river too!

I picked up the buildings from Salute a few years ago. Not sure who made them. I am thinking of creating some sort of stream and/or pond terrain. That should help the Slann! depends how much time I have...
