Updated pictures of my Citadel Wood Elf Army

I took a couple of hours this afternoon to set up and photograph my Wood Elf army again, with the additional units that have joined since last time! Bringing out this many troops onto the table and setting them up reminds me I really must invest some time into getting some movement trays sorted! - Maybe I'll have them done for the next photo shoot. My army has also grown so much that I will probably have to get a proper gaming board rather than just use the kitchen table! Still not much progress on the halfling allies though...

Anyone care to guess what point value this would come to in an old school 3rd edition battle?

Wow - that is definitely what I'd call a War Host!

Very nice, good to see you've been painting more up.

Let's see, maybe 5,000 points.

Coincidentally I've been painting Wood Elves too. Not that many yet though!

Truly epic sir - but it needs more Wardancers is you ask me!

Very nice, Mr Justin. Must have felt nice just to handle them and line them up on the table.

Here's to them getting into a fight one day!

Also: nice to see the griffon.

Normally I don't comment when a post breaks 5 comments simply because at that point I feel like I'm just being a blabber mouth without something quality to add.

But, seriously, that army completely freaking rocks! I am so jealous you can't imagine :)

Thankyou all for your kind comments! Normally our hobby is quite a solitary affair (I've not yet managed to game with the army yet!) -, however, it's nice to know that there are others out there that appreciate what I'm doing!

After my halflings are done, I'll add some more wardancers!

It is a stunning army. I love simple schemes in large numbers.
Huge inspiration what can be achieved by sticking to the task.
